Add some mood lighting to your teen room with this fun DIY headboard project constructed by building a simple wood frame out of 2x4s, adding crossbeams, then drilling small holes in the bottom of each section to pull strands of mini LED lights through. You'll need multiple sets of mini lights for this project. You'll also need to be able to connect all the cords together. Polycarbonate sheets (cut to fit) make ideal translucent panels that can easily be affixed to the base of the headboard with screws. Thanks to Shelterness for this awesome LED headboard idea!
